This program will build on the knowledge gained in the other two webinars of the trauma-informed care series to develop a comprehensive understanding of how experiencing intimate partner violence (IPV) affects health, in particular perinatal health and outcomes. The webinar will discuss the intersection of IPV and healthcare utilization and review the concepts of cultural humility and SAFE framework as important aspects of caring for people who have experienced IPV.

Target Audience: Doulas, nurses, community health workers, and other healthcare professionals supporting perinatal patients

Learning Outcome: Upon completion of this program, participants will self-report an increase in knowledge related to the health effects of intimate partner violence.
