This recorded on-demand program is provided by the Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern New Jersey, and jointly provided by the Central Jersey Family Health Consortium and Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative, in collaboration with The SIDS Center of New Jersey. It is an opportunity for nurses and other health professionals who work with families to learn the updated safe sleep guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics to reduce the risk of SIDS and other sleep- related infant deaths. 


Target Audience:
Perinatal and Pediatric Nurses

Learning Outcome: At the conclusion of the program, the participants will self-report knowledge gained related to risk-reducing practices for Sudden Unexpected Infant Death and intent to change practice by incorporating methods for reducing risks into professional practice.

Continuing Nursing Education Contact Hours: This program has been awarded 1.0 contact hours.
