HIV, Hepatitis, & Syphilis: Evolving Perinatal Clinical Strategies 

Speaker: Susan Burrows-Clark, RN, MSN, CNS-C, AACRN 

Participants will learn from an experienced clinician about evolving perinatal issues of HIV, hepatitis, and syphilis. Clinical management content will include maternal & infant screening recommendations, prevention strategies, diagnosis, and current treatment options. Participants will learn about community-based care coordination strategies and resources that effectively engage families in comprehensive HIV, hepatitis, and syphilis services.

Target Audience: Nurses, physicians, and other professionals in the healthcare setting

Learning Outcome: At the conclusion of the program, participants will self-report increased knowledge regarding clinical management of HIV, hepatitis, and syphilis and effective strategies for care. 

Continuing Nursing Education Contact Hours: This program has been awarded 1.5 contact hours.
