A Resurgence of Congenital Syphilis:

Managing the Syphilis-Exposed Infant

Please note:
Attendees must watch the ENTIRE webinar and complete the evaluation to be eligible for a certificate of completion.

In recent years, there has been a concerning rise in the rates of congenital syphilis, with a significant impact on newborn infants. Healthcare providers must be aware of the latest statistics related to congenital syphilis and the recommended outpatient follow-up recommendations for syphilis-exposed infants. Understanding these trends can help providers in effectively identifying and managing cases of congenital syphilis, ultimately leading to better outcomes for these vulnerable infants. This webinar will provide an overview of congenital syphilis and explore missed opportunities for preventing congenital syphilis, as well as infant follow-up needs.
