Updated ACOG Recommendations for the Prevention of Congenital Syphilis

As rates of syphilis during pregnancy have increased nationally and in New Jersey, so has the importance of identifying and treating syphilis in pregnancy. This webinar will review current syphilis screening recommendations from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and provide resources to obstetric providers.

Target Audience: Obstetricians, midwives, nurses

Learning Outcome: At the conclusion of the program, participants will self-report increased knowledge of syphilis screening recommendations and resources.

Successful Completion: To receive contact hours for viewing this recorded continuing education program, the participant must register for the program, view the entire webinar (as defined by at least 80% of the time), and complete and submit an electronic evaluation. A certificate of completion will be distributed within four weeks of submission of the evaluation.
